Apple Intelligence comes to Apple Vision Pro in April (Apple)
Today, Apple announced Apple Intelligence is coming to Apple Vision Pro in April. With Apple Intelligence for Vision Pro, users will be able to proofread, rewrite, and summarize text using Writing Tools; compose text from scratch using ChatGPT in Writing Tools; explore new ways to express themselves visually with Image Playground; create the perfect emoji for any conversation with Genmoji; and much more. Apple Intelligence will be available in beta on visionOS 2.4 with support for U.S. English. More features and support for additional languages will roll out throughout the year.
With Writing Tools, Apple Vision Pro users can rewrite, proofread, and summarize text nearly everywhere they write, including Mail.
With Create a Memory Movie, users can simply type a description, and Apple Intelligence will pick out the best photos and videos, craft a storyline with chapters, and arrange it all into a movie with its own narrative arc and a soundtrack.
Apple Introduces Introducing Spatial Gallery (Apple)
visionOS 2.4 introduces Spatial Gallery, a new app that features a selection of spatial photos, spatial videos, and panoramas curated by Apple for Apple Vision Pro. With Spatial Gallery, users will enjoy breathtaking and intimate moments spanning art, culture, entertainment, lifestyle, nature, sports, and travel, with new content released regularly. At launch, users can discover remarkable perspectives from photographers like Jonpaul Douglass and Samba Diop; new stories and experiences from iconic brands including Cirque du Soleil, Red Bull, and Porsche; behind-the-scenes moments from Apple Originals like Disclaimer, Severance, and Shrinking; and special moments from top artists.
Starting in April, Apple Vision Pro users will be able to queue apps and games to download, discover new spatial content and experiences, easily find helpful tips, and quickly access information about their device from their iPhone with the new Apple Vision Pro app. The app will appear for Vision Pro users when they update their iPhone to iOS 18.4, and it can also be downloaded from the App Store.
The Discover page offers curated recommendations for new and noteworthy experiences available on Apple Vision Pro. Users can quickly see popular apps and games on the App Store; nearly 300 3D movies, Apple Immersive titles, and more video content on the Apple TV app; and the latest spatial photos, spatial videos, and panoramas featured in the Spatial Gallery.1 New Apple Immersive titles include “Ice Dive” from the Adventure series; “Sharks” from the Wild Lifeseries; and Man vs. Beast. “Arctic Surfing” — the latest episode of Boundless — debuts worldwide today, while the next episode of Adventure, “Deep Water Solo,” debuts next Friday, February 28.
Apple Vision Pro users around the world have loved sharing the magic of spatial computing with family, friends, and colleagues through Guest User. From Control Center, users can choose which apps their guest can see, and guests can save their eye and hand setup for up to 30 days after their last use.
With new enhancements to Guest User in visionOS 2.4, users can start a Guest User session with their nearby iPhone or iPad. When their device is unlocked, they can choose which apps are accessible to their guest and start View Mirroring with AirPlay, making it easy to guide a guest through their Vision Pro experience.

"Arctic Surfing" lets viewers "paddle into icy waters with a group of intrepid surfers and feel the rush of riding Norway's wintry waves."
The previous episode in the series is "Hot Air Balloons," offering viewers a journey above Türkiye's iconic rock formations. Another new episode, "Deep Water Solo," is arriving next Friday.
You can easily add depth to a visionOS app without using a Volume or Immersive Space. It’s a great way to spark curiosity before users commit to a full immersive experience—perfect for real estate, travel agencies, and more!

20+ hours AVP usage a week with this setup (source)
Allow me to explain this absurd thing on my head (made by a 3D printer, not Apple).
I am possibly the only person on Earth who uses the Apple Vision Pro 20+ hours a week. As a writer, it's just such a MASSIVE upgrade to go from sitting in an office looking at a 32-inch monitor to sitting on a mountaintop, totally immersed and undistracted, looking at a 50-foot screen.
There's just one problem: the idiotic way Apple designed their headset, all the weight sits your face. This is uncomfortable and was on the way to making me look 80 years old. My friend @jcoon1800, also appalled by Apple, designed a solution: a headset that redistributes the weight from the face to the top and back of the head. The headset is now not touching my face at all—it hovers a millimeter off the skin. This is WORLD'S more comfortable, causes no skin damage, and can be worn for hours with no issue—way better than even the lightest headsets I've worn.
This isn't an ad and the headset isn't for sale. I just needed to say: The fact that one dude managed to figure this out and Apple somehow did not boggles my mind. @apple please talk to Jonathan and get your shit together. VR, even with a big heavy headset, does not have to be uncomfortable! It's all in the design.
If you didn’t know, you can stream PC games to your Apple Vision Pro via Steam Link (iPad app.) Here I’m running Tekken 8 from my laptop with an RTX 4090.
ok, I put together a "1 click" utility that converts Fujifilm MPO files -> SBS -> Spatial Photos for Apple Vision Pro It combines CLI utilities from @spmaker (stereoautoalign) and @anyware (spatial video tools) to batch process a series of image note - I made this for myself and isn't very polished nor generalizable, but the script is on github with instructions to follow to get it working for yourself too https://github.com/azadbal/MPO-to-Spatial
Epic MyChart app now has support for Apple Vision Pro (source)
This past week, the MyChart app officially got support for the Apple Vision Pro in its latest update, Version 11.3.1.
The release notes of the update say the following:
“The account setting activity has an updated look-and-feel. MyChart is now compatible with Apple Vision Pro. These features might become available to use after your healthcare organization starts using the latest version of Epic.”
This is considered a somewhat big deal since the Apple Vision Pro is still a fairly new Apple product, as well as the fact that the MyChart app is currently the number one app in the Medical category of apps in the App Store.
