Vision Pro Spatial Gallery Launches in visionOS 2.4 Beta 2 (source)
With the visionOS 2.4 update, Apple is making some major enhancements to the Vision Pro, and that includes a new Spatial Gallery app that's available in the beta as of today.

I’m speechless—Spatial Gallery has the most beautiful user interface I’ve ever experienced in an Apple product. It's also the first time Apple has introduced depth to panels in visionOS, giving them a 3D-like appearance—something I’ve never seen before.
Expanding the content you want to watch fills the entire room with its vibrant colors, and I can’t get enough of it. It’s visually stunning—like Philips Ambilight, but multiplied by ten.
Watching a video of this from someone else doesn’t do it justice. You have to try it yourself to understand why it’s nothing short of a feast for the eyes!

Vision Pro App for iPhone Available in iOS 18.4 Beta 2 (source)
Apple today released a new Vision Pro app for the iPhone, which is installed automatically for Vision Pro owners who upgrade to iOS 18.4 beta 2, the latest beta that also came out for developers this morning.
The app was announced two weeks ago, and it is designed to make it easier to find and download content to the Vision Pro when the headset is not in use.
There is a "My Vision Pro" section that has information like serial number and visionOS version, along with a user guide and tips for using the Vision Pro.

The Vision Pro app for iPhone is here! At this stage, it still feels more like an empty shell—or the first chapter of a long book yet to be written. So, no long review from me here. The app features Vision Pro apps and immersive videos, similar to the App Store’s Today page. You can install and save them with a single tap on your device and explore everything Vision Pro-related, including details about your own headset. Let’s see how this app evolves, but I’m already a big fan of the idea of having a companion app for our favorite device!
Apple reportedly planning ‘feature-packed’ visionOS 3 update (source)
While we aren’t getting a new Apple Vision Pro model in 2025 as some may have hoped, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that Apple is planning a ‘feature-packed release’ for visionOS 3 this year at WWDC.
According to Mark Gurman, a second-generation version of Vision Pro with a new M-series chip is still in the pipeline, as well as cheaper versions of the headset. However, neither of these things will come to fruition in 2025, despite the fact that the current generation headset still uses 2022’s M2 chipset, which’ll be four years old by the time there’s a refresh.
Three new Apple Vision related patents cover a Head Device for Videographers, Scrolling Content with Head Movements (source)
On Thursday, the U.S. Patent Office published three new HMD related patent applications. The main one covers an accessory for videographers that will allows them to add an extra camera and audio system in an accessory that fits over Vision Pro that is designed to provide stabilization features and enhanced movement during capture. Two other patents cover Vision Pro using head movements to scroll content and another for a cushion for the display.
Head-mountable devices, such as head-mountable displays, headsets, visors, smartglasses, head-up display, etc., can perform a range of functions that are managed by the components (e.g., sensors, circuitry, and other hardware) included with the wearable device.

Engineering.com: What’s 3DLive all about?
Tom Acland: The release that we’re making in the summer of this year really consists, from a product perspective, of two components. There’s the 3DLive app, which is going to be available on the Apple Vision Pro. It’s the way that people access the information which is published from the 3DExperience platform.
The other half is the ability to create use case focused scenarios to help people in business collaborate with each other. And that tool chain is resident on the 3DExperience platform. So using the components which are on 3DExperience platform, you can aggregate different pieces of the virtual twin which are relevant in the context of a particular use case.
AVP scan your home and transform it into a miniature 3D model (source)
This Vision Pro app lets you scan your home and transform it into a miniature 3D model 😱—yet another showcase of this device’s incredible power.
During scanning, the app labels walls, tables, and seats while wrapping everything in a sleek plastic-like look, making the experience both functional and fun.
The app, "Scan Export", is one of many impressive creations by Adam Roszyk, who seems to be building a Vision Pro app empire! Be sure to check out this and his other great apps, like Floor is Lava, PlankWalk, and Saber Academy!
Amazing XR concept that can enhance AVP (source)
This is why XR is going to change EVERYTHING.
It’s not about escaping reality (though, let’s be honest, that can be awesome sometimes😏).
It’s about enhancing, expanding, and redefining your reality.
🔥 Buckle up, people—things are about to get WILD.
Shoutout to Lucas Couto for the amazing concept video! Couldn't find his account here—tag him if you can.

The Find-Waldo app of AVP "Where is Ploppy" (source)
They finally found Waldo! Now we’re looking for Ploppy in "Where is Ploppy"—an interactive Vision Pro game where you need to find a specific illustration on cards that are spatially floating all around you. Now just imagine how much fun future generations will have growing up with technology like this, unlocking all kinds of magical experiences and unlimited possibilities. The game is by@michael_temper, who also created "Ploppy Pairs", a fun memory version of this game. Highly recommend checking it out!

Some time ago I was commissioned to make this cool demo on #VisionPro, it was a good chance to get hands on with Unity's #Polyspatial. Watching the scene through the headset feels truly magical!
Moon portal creates amazing 3D scenary (source)
Moon Portal might be the best app I’ve bought for Apple Vision Pro. I’ve only used some of its features so far, but it can display 3D scenery from the window. The weather can be customized, and there are lots of things you can display, so it feels pretty nice.

Spatial Film Update: Our First 16K 90fps Immersive 180 Film—FREE! (source)
Hey, VisionPro community, I’m excited to share a new 2-episode, 30-minute each immersive 180 film we’ve been working on! This is one of the few independent 3D 180 films shot natively in 16K 90fps(absolutely no AI upscale). The level of detail, motion smoothness, and depth is something we’re really proud of.
This YouTube link is just a preview, downscaled to 8K 60fps—but the real magic happens when you stream or download the film on our Spatial Film app for Apple Vision Pro:
