The in-store “Apple Vision Pro Experience Room” is the first of its kind in Japan. To create a seamless experience between the store environment and the world inside Apple Vision Pro, even the corners of the displays have been intentionally rounded. This kind of meticulous attention to detail is quintessentially Apple.
A custom-made sofa from Poltrona Frau, one of the world’s most prestigious leather brands beloved by Apple’s design team. Although different in shape, the front-row seats at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple’s headquarters are also custom-made by the same company—reportedly costing over 2 million yen each, according to an engineer involved in the project. While the sofa at Apple Umeda has a different design and uses vegan leather in line with Apple’s recent move away from genuine leather, there’s no doubt it’s still a very expensive piece of furniture.

Apple looks to be doubling up its efforts in delivering smart glasses, and its rumored Apple Glasses are now tipped to launch in 2027. Now, a new patent teases what the Cupertino tech giant may be cooking up — and it's all about comfort.
A recently published Apple patent shows a head-mountable VR/AR device (like a pair of smart glasses) that includes a headband-like strap attached, which aims to improve comfort, fit and adjustability. This strap is attached to the glasses' arms and is said to provide a more personalized fit for users, as per Patently Apple.

Clara explained, “Although there’s a lot that can be learned from watching the Apple Immersive content that Apple published on Apple TV, we felt that it was really important to get a clear understanding of the practical application of subject proximity and the viewer’s perception before beginning a project in the Apple Immersive format”.

The AIVU app is a free download from the Apple App Store that lets you import and view Apple Immersive Video at any point in the production process.
