Step into the world of ‘Jeopardy!’ on Vision Pro with this new Apple Arcade game (source)
Ever wanted to experience the Jeopardy set in real life? Jeopardy! Daily on Apple Arcade gets you pretty close, if you have an Apple Vision Pro.
A couple days ago on September 4, some new games were released on Apple Arcade, and among them was Jeopardy! Daily, a new game that lets you play a daily set of boards as if you were a contestant on the real game.
The game supports iPhone, iPad, Mac, and even Apple TV. However, if you are playing on an Apple Vision Pro, the game really comes to life! You can play the game inside a virtual environment of the Jeopardy! set, positioned as if you were really a contestant on the show.
Apple’s Vision Pro Gaining Traction in Some Niches of Business (WSJ)
The iPhone was the epitome of Apple product migration, gaining a foothold among consumers who fell in love with the device and literally carried it into the corporate world. The Vision Pro is playing out in reverse. This time around, companies are leading the adoption of a transformative new device.
Priced at $3,500, Apple’s mixed-reality headset is too expensive for most of us. Some users have found it unsuitable for extended wear, given that it weighs about one and a half pounds, excluding battery. Some have complained that there isn’t enough content available. Overall, it’s too conspicuous for streetwear or, heaven forbid, the gym—and wasn’t intended for either.
Apple Vision Air expected to launch in 2027 — lighter and half the price of Vision Pro (source)
For one, Kuo states the headset is expected to be 40% lighter than the Vision Pro. Since this current model weighs around 1.3 to 1.4 pounds, we can now expect the Air model to be around 0.8 to 0.9 pounds. To put that into perspective, the Meta Quest 3 weighs 1.1 pounds, so this will be one extremely light mixed-reality headset.
Secondly, the Apple analyst claims it will be "more than 50% cheaper." The Vision Pro starts at $3,499, and was one of the main reasons it didn't take off as Apple wanted it to. This means the Vision Air could cost around $1,799, or less, instead — a far more affordable price, but still a premium cost.
Wist Delivers Minority Report's Memory Replay On Apple Vision Pro (source)
Wist lets you capture events with an iPhone and revisit them as stabilized volumetric memories on Apple Vision Pro or Quest.
Functionally, a "memory" captured with Wist looks a lot like the replay feature Tom Cruise's character used in Steven Spielberg's 2002 film Minority Report.
Apple Vision Pro could be used to attend live football from anywhere – one major club has already confirmed plans (source)
Apple Vision Pro has been widely lauded for the great experience it offers, and it’s one of the best VR headsets you can buy. However, it hasn’t had the best start to life, not just because of the price, but because people are wondering what to actually do with it.
Recently, we reported that Apple could be looking at bringing support for Sony’s PSVR2 hand controllers – which could open the doors to more serious gaming – but there could also be a move to improve the experience of watching The Beautiful Game... if Real Madrid gets its way.
At a recent press conference, Florentino Pérez, president of the football club, said that he was in negotiation with Apple to create “the infinite Santiago Bernabéu". His comments, reported by Spanish sports newspaper Marca, are scant on detail, but highlight the problem that fans have getting access to the Bernabéu, Real Madrid’s stadium.

Doodles rumored to be working on a new AVP project (source)
so it seems like @doodles is working on a new VR project which may be released during apple big events along with new updates about apple vision pro.
This is very bullish news for @mawariXR. Mawari's zero latency and less bandwidth technology could be the next big thing for companies like apple or meta.
AVP app that shows trend of interest levels (source)
I created an Apple Vision Pro app that visualizes the trend of interest levels by country for keywords of interest on a globe🌏 It could be useful as a research tool for app marketing!#AppleVisionPro

Prototyping data viz on the @Apple Vision Pro. What other ways can we use spatial for storytelling with data?
Working on a "story mode" but feel like there is so much potential here that is yet to be explored.

Apple’s “Light” Environments on Vision Pro don’t get enough love (source)
I feel like Apple’s “Light” Environments on Vision Pro don’t get enough love.
With them, you can literally change the color of sunlight and instantly shift the mood of your room — and yourself. These real-life filters are more essential than you might think.
My favorite is "Fall Light". It always makes me want to grab a book, sink into a comfy chair, and sip hot tea (even though it’s summer… and I don’t even read books)

Greetings from space - spatial messaging on AVP (source)
Greetings From Space runs on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro. Send a hologlyph and they open right in Messages, no app required on the other end — as long as they’re a blue bubble too.
Get a handful for free. Then grab the booster pack for $1.99 to unlock 50 more hologlyphs. One-time purchase. Family Sharing included.
Immersive Disneyland + California Adventure Spatial Video (source)
I’ve been testing out the Vision Pro’s immersive video recording at Disneyland and California Adventure. Right now the file includes:
🌟 Gameplay overlay at the Walt & Mickey statue with the castle glowing behind
🌊 The waterfall at Grizzly River Run
🟡 A submarine passing by on the lagoon ride
🏰 A closer castle shot reimagined as a cosmic arena backdrop
I’ll be continuously updating this same file over the next couple days with more footage from around the parks, so you can drop back in and see new additions without chasing new links.
Would love feedback on how it looks in your Vision Pro — especially depth and clarity. Planning to build this into a longer “park tour” style immersive reel.
