Apple previews new immersive films for Apple Vision Pro (Apple)
Apple today previewed a slate of new films in Apple Immersive from top global publishers, broadcasters, studios, and brands, including the Audi F1 Project, the BBC, CANAL+, CNN, HYBE, MotoGP, and Red Bull. The new films will launch alongside new episodes of returning Apple Immersive series exclusively on Apple Vision Pro in the coming months. These new films are also among the first to be captured with Blackmagic Design’s URSA Cine Immersive camera and edited on Mac using DaVinci Resolve Studio. The first film, Tour De Force from CANAL+ and MotoGP, is now available on the Apple TV app, and an extended preview will be available at select Apple Store locations next month.
World of Red Bull is a new series of immersive experiences for Apple Vision Pro that bring Red Bull’s signature energy and storytelling to this groundbreaking format. In the debut episode, “Backcountry Skiing,” audiences are transported into the wilderness of Revelstoke, British Columbia, where the world’s top freeskiers push their limits on remote, untouched slopes. Blending breathtaking action with intimate athlete moments, the episode captures both the intensity and beauty of backcountry freeskiing, while showcasing the passion, preparation, and dedication it takes to reach the peak. In the next episode, “Big-Wave Surfing,” viewers will feel the power of the ocean like never before as elite surfers attempt to ride the barrel of the heaviest wave in the world off the remote coast of Teahupoʻo, Tahiti. “Backcountry Skiing” will be available this December, and “Big-Wave Surfing” will be released in 2026.

Behind the scenes of immersive MotoGP
The film follows champion rider Johann Zarco through his rain-soaked motorbike race at the French Grand Prix in Le Mans earlier this year, resulting in the end a 71-year wait for a home champion in front of over 300,000 fans.
To capture the event as vividly as possible, CANAL+ deployed four URSA Cine Immersive cameras across the track, mounted on pedestals and Steadicams, and paired with ambisonic microphones for Apple Spatial Audio.
A mobile production setup using Mac Studio with M3 Max, Pro Display XDR, and Vision Pro was positioned trackside for immediate review, ensuring framing and perspective felt natural inside the headset.
The Paris-based post-production team used the same tools with DaVinci Resolve Studio for editing, color grading, and audio mixing.

iPhone now works better than ever with Vision Pro thanks to visionOS 26
Alongside flagship new features like spatial widgets and upgraded Personas, the update brings improvements to the experience of using an iPhone and Vision Pro together.
Two new features include:
Unlocking your iPhone without needing to enter a passcode
seeing your iPhone even when using an immersive experience
The former addresses one of my longstanding frustrations with Vision Pro.

Camera Monitor for Videographers and Drone Pilots (source)
The Vision Pro has one of the best screens I have ever viewed, so when the option for UVC connected device opened up in visionOS 26, I knew I had to get my camera in somehow. So I built UVSee, a videographer and drone pilot monitoring solution that requires a developer strap, an HDMI capture card dongle, and an HDMI feed from your camera or remote. I added grid and guidelines to help line up your shots if your camera doesn’t export that info, and I love that I can make the screen 20 feet tall to really nail focus. Also turn the knob up top, and your favorite environment appears to melt away visual distractions. Here’s the link if you’d like to check it out and appreciate any feedback. Thanks everyone! It was amazing to see how entire spaces can be preserved and experienced inside Vision Pro—and even more exciting to realize we can create that content ourselves.
🌏 To all Vision Pro users abroad: what kind of Japanese landscapes would you love to experience in immersive video?

I just released Caradise — a spatial car museum where you can explore legendary classic cars with a focus on pushing the Vision Pro to its limit when it comes to visual quality, immersion and realism.
The app is a free download and includes 3 gorgeous cars to explore, with a “Classic Icons” pack with 6 additional cars available as an IAP.
