Glassbreakers, launches today on Apple Arcade and AVP (source)
Hello! We’re Polyarc Games. You might recognize us - a few weeks ago, we dropped a post here about developing the first Unreal Engine game for Apple Vision Pro. We had such a wonderful time chatting with the r/VisionPro subreddit that we figured we’d pop in to let you know that Glassbreakers launches today on the Apple Vision Pro! Check it out!
For Apple Arcade members, you’ll be able to find the game in the Apple Arcade library today.
Glassbreakers might interest you if:
You enjoy short sessions of competitive strategy games. Glassbreakers is designed for fast-paced, tactical competitive experiences in short, bite-sized sessions. Each match, you choose a unique combination of three Champions from a roster. You can play with or against your friends, in private matches, or match with similarly skilled players. Every match will have unique challenges, such as ever-changing squad combinations or randomized maps with their own board objectives.
You love setting short- and long-term goals with games you play. After each match, you’re rewarded for your mastery of the Champions in your team, allowing you to change your tactics and dream up new strategies over time.
Glassbreakers is a premium product. We know many players are feeling fatigued with the F2P model. Games in the VR space can often feel unfinished and endless Battle Pass grinds don’t feel interesting. We’ve designed Glassbreakers to have meaningful progression right from the start.
We’re a small, independent studio. By supporting Glassbreakers, you’re supporting independent game developers who are passionate about bringing premium experiences to the VR space.
Tried out: Apple’s new dual band made of knit fabric on an old Vision Pro (source)
Apple’s Vision Pro is known for being quite bulky on the head, with a weight of 600 to 650 grams for the M2 model and now 750 to 800 grams for the M5 model. The reason for the latter weight increase is that Apple now supplies the so-called Dual-Band made of knit fabric as standard. Its main innovation is an additional overhead strap designed to distribute the weight better, including new “counterweights” built into the rear strap for the back of the head.
We checked whether it’s worth it for existing Vision Pro customers to switch from the old solo band made of knit fabric, which came with the M2 model, to the dual band. You can also find a detailed test of the Vision Pro M5, including the new band, on heise+.

Apple Vision Pro 2: What Business Leaders Should Know About the Future of Spatial Collaboration (source)
A lot of leaders are starting to ask the same question: “How do we actually make immersive tech useful?” Spatial computing has slipped out of the lab and into leadership conversations. It now comes up in the same breath as hybrid work and AI productivity plans.
IDC already predicted shipments of AR, VR, and smart-glasses devices would rise about 39 percent before the end of 2025, reaching close to 14 million units. The focus isn’t really on games anymore. It’s on how companies are using this tech to reshape how people talk to each other, learn new skills, and get work done together.
Redditors hate this apple product, but here’s why they’re wrong (source)
Apple is known for making excellent devices that people love, and it has even come up with several groundbreaking innovations. However, it’s not a perfect company, and it has actually made a device so bad it got sued for it. This wouldn’t be a significant “milestone” for many other tech companies, but because the maker of the iPhone is so popular, it’s bound to have a lot of passionate haters.
So, while trolling through Reddit, it’s natural to find people who dislike Apple, and one of the things we found discovered was that a few people hate this one particular product that it made — the Apple Vision Pro. This is Apple’s take on virtual reality headsets, which combines augmented reality with virtual reality, allowing for what it calls “spatial computing”. However, it costs an astounding $3,499, and it’s often the cited reason why people don’t like it. Unlike a similarly priced MacBook Pro that can do so much more, the average user would have little use for it, except for watching movies and shows in a more immersive manner.

The Lakers announcment is probably the most exiciting development here. Live immersive sports could be the killer app that drives mainstream adoption. The Flight Ready content also sounds incredible, these kinds of experiential documentaries really showcase what spatial computing can do. Looking forward to seeng more live events come to the platform.
