Interview: Resolution Games CEO on Bringing Nostalgia to Apple Vision Pro (Newsweek)
In a world where gaming is headed in directions never thought possible, it’s almost difficult to imagine what the next step in development is going to look like. After spending a bit of time in “Retrocade” by developer Resolution Games, it was clear that there was a lot of thought and care put into the entire development process to ensure the most memorable, nostalgic and immersive arcade gaming experience possible.
If Resolution Games already sounds familiar, they’re the developers behind “Spatial Ops,” a fast-paced first-person shooter that turns your living room into a battleground that can be experienced with up to seven additional friends online.
They say Vision Pro is doomed, but I just bought one anyway (source)
Is it weird that I just bought an Apple Vision Pro when everyone says the platform is dead? Maybe. But I have zero regrets.
I’ve always supported the underdog. I guess that’s why I became an Apple fan in the first place. Back in the ’90s, using a Mac really did feel like being part of a “cult.” We believed in the platform when no one else did. And so it is with Vision Pro. It’s actually nice to see Apple as the underdog again, because that’s how Cupertino does its best work.
Apple Vision Pro Is Kia’s Secret Weapon To Speed Up Design Process (source)
The Apple Vision Pro is undeniably a cutting-edge technology that can significantly enhance viewing experiences, enabling features like watching Formula 1 with multiple camera angles simultaneously and even viewing a 3D representation of the track. But with a starting price of $3,499, it is easy to see why the device remains a niche product, though Kia has found a valuable use for it.
Kia used the Apple Vision Pro to help design the Vision Meta Turismo, an all-electric concept that could preview a future Stinger successor, while also demonstrating how spatial computing technology could become a game-changer in the automotive design process. The Korean marque claimed that “what has taken months in the past can be reduced to a matter of weeks or even days.”
Rumors of an all-black Apple Vision Pro are back (source)
Back in April 2025, it was claimed that Apple’s second Apple Vision Pro headset would come in either black or a dark blue color. Then there was a leak of a dark blue connecting cable, and in December 2025 there came a leaked image of a black headset connector.
Most of those rumors came from Apple prototype collector Kosutami, who has a mixed track record. But now a Hong Kong developer known as both pipfix and LusiRoy8, has shared two further images of components for what may be a black Apple Vision Pro.
Apple Vision Pro & PlayStation 5 are the perfect combo with Remote Play apps (source)
Apple Vision Pro is an excellent gaming platform, at least when you can find games to run on it. While I’d prefer to have a great selection of VR games, the ability to use PlayStation Remote Play is a decent middle ground.
I’ll say up front that playing PlayStation 5 is still best on a home entertainment system with good audio and video. However, the Portal app makes Apple Vision Pro a close second option.
The app is available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro. There is a premium subscription, and it is a bit pricey, but it’s totally worth it for the functionality.
Upcoming Spatial Zombies game (source)
Sneak peak of the upcoming Spatial Zombies game intro sequence. Lots of Easter eggs and other surprises in here, but still not done. The ufo has interactions with your environment, and crashes against your wall. Coming soon for Apple Vision Pro.

Use of Apple Vision Pro for endoscopic skull base surgery (source)
Excited about the use of Apple Vision Pro for endoscopic skull base surgery. After Performing over 5000 endoscopic surgeries, this is an amazing massive upgrade. Truly immersive surgery where one feels like you’re inside the brain walking around and doing the operation!
Created my own Vision Pro App to add cables in finished homes (source)
Tired of waiting on the future so I created my own app. Helps me identify studs, home layouts, and line up drill shots. Week 2 in the field, I have soo many features I want to add but for now I’m just grateful and blessed to have my very own app built for my own workflow. $99 developer account, and $600 Mac book has already paid for itself.

What if earth was made of Liquid Glass?
Apple Vision Pro experiment with using frosted glass and transparency as design elements. And liquid would not be liquid of it did not respond to hand interactions in a satisfying way.
Made with RealityKit.

I love my iPad, MacBook, and iPhone, but the Apple Vision Pro is the best Apple device for multitasking. Having multiple apps open on the infinite canvas makes working much easier. It’s truly revolutionary. #AppleVisionPro #Apple #SpatialComputing
