Ming Chi Kuo: 2025 Apple Vision Pro to Get M5 Chip and Apple Intelligence (source)
Kuo claims the most significant change in the new model will be the inclusion of Apple's M5 chip, a substantial upgrade from the M2 chip found in the current Vision Pro. The processor boost is expected to significantly improve device's computing power, with a particular emphasis on integrated Apple Intelligence features.
…
In particular, if the M5 Vision Pro can integrate something like OpenAI’s Sora, it may elevate the user experience of the head-mounted display device to unimaginable levels. The impact of text-to-video AI models on the head-mounted display device experience will likely be more impressive than on existing mainstream consumer electronics.
Speaking of Sora with the M5 chip…this might be sooner than you think
Flappy Experience Is A Flappy Bird Clone For Apple Vision Pro (source)
Developed by Tal Kol using RealityKit, Flappy Experience takes direct inspiration from 2013's casual mobile side-scroller, Flappy Bird. All you do is move your arms up and down like a bird flapping its wings while aiming to avoid green pipes, and this experience features four levels of difficulty. As part of this release, Tal Kol also released the full source code on Github.
A deep dive interview with Tim Davison, the developer of the popular cell exploration app “CellWalk” (source)
- What inspired you to develop this app?
I saw a problem in the fact that current educational materials, even YouTube videos, are static, offering few opportunities for students to truly experience science. Scientists, on the other hand, use incredibly advanced 3D visualization software and data. That’s when I started thinking, “What if we could bring some of the interactive, 3D programming techniques they use into classrooms?”
…
Through this interview, I was deeply impressed by the strong desire to solve challenges in education and the rapid pace of development. What is particularly noteworthy is the speed at which CellWalk is expanding. After releasing the VisionPro version in March of this year, the iPhone version was featured in the “Education” category of the Apple Store in just six months.

Tried to use the #AppleVisionPro into during a flight (source)
Few weeks ago, I tried to use the #AppleVisionPro into during a flight (as passenger of course) to see what can I get from spatial computing in air.
- Spatial video doesn't work because of the Travel Mode
- Tracking is good in general, except when it moves a lot
- Passthrough latency is incredible good because
- Field of view is too low to really enjoy the flight
It was fun, but I don't recommand it ;-)
